Some weary bodies and heavy heads arose for breakfast this morning before strolling up to the training pitch for an 11 o'clock session. The match had taken its toll on the lads which presented us with an opportunity to do some organisational work. After a productive session we had a quick bite to eat in the hotel and then went to Stellenbosch University's high performance centre. Vinny Hammond put our core muscles to the test with a tough 45 minute session. After seeing their high performance centre it's no surprise that university rugby in South Africa is so dominant. Their facilities combined with obscenely large portions of food cater perfectly for achieving rugby excellence.

A few of us overstayed our welcome in a nearby cafe while nursing protein enhanced smoothies, chicken wraps and cappuccinos. After a kip and some down time we went out for dinner and a few quiet drinks. I actually have no proof as to whether or not these drinks were quiet as I snook off when the funny bunny games began! I guess I'll find out in the morning...
