Another jam packed day awaited us on day 5. The previous night's training game meant that a team bonding session was in order down on the Waterfront. The Bull (Kieran Moloney) brought the house down with a traditional Gikker (Terenure) song that was worthy of X-Factor! We were a little rusty on the training pitch this morning but we managed to go through some important organisational work that will stand to us on Monday against Western Cape University.

Finally we made it up Table Mountain where the views were spectacular. Unfortunately the Beast (Brian Hall) released some toxic gases on our descent in the gondola much to the disgust of the American tourists!

Shannell (Shane Grannell) was enthused by the prospect of access to Newlands' training facilities. After Shannell's  fix of the gym we were back on the bus home in order to chill out before heading out to Long Street for a bite to eat.
