Wednesday kicked off with an early session on the grounds of UCT. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse which cancelled our proposed trip up Table Mountain. Shanell (Shane Grannell) who has sat out the last two sessions due to injury appears to be more interested in the female students than the lineout calls. We wish him a speedy recovery so he can shift the focus back to the rugby!
A super lunch in the hotel was followed by a trip to Stellenbosch where we watched UCT 1st XV take on Stellenbosch University. The standard was typically South African- fast paced and direct with the home side producing a win.
The most significant event of the day was the handing over of Finbar to our second youngest player, Niall Earls. Big warm up game tomorrow against UCT which we're all gunning for! Early night. Let's hope the 'beast' is playing...
